What do you have for breakfast?
Essentially birdseed so homemade muesli or Porridge or a combination of whatever is left of those and whatever I am making for the boys
What is your morning routine?
Monday and Friday is the gym and Tuesday to Thursday is organised chaos getting our two boys ready and dropping them off at day care and school!
What is your dream car?
A dream car is a car that is solely meant to be driven and has no other purpose other than that so the Aston Martin Vulcan fits that bill. Maybe if Tony Quinn reads this he will let me have a drive of his!
What is the top spot on your bucket list?
My wife and I have been lucky to visit a number of places around the world as travel is a passion of ours but two complete opposites top that list. One is the Northern Lights and the other is the Maldives. Apparently both are like nothing else and need to be seen before you die.
What advice would you give your 20 year old self?
Relax, focus on the positives, travel even more and enjoy the moment as everything will work out
How do you stay motivated?
I have always enjoyed team sports so surrounding yourself with good people who often challenge themselves and others to be better helps as I never want to let a team mate, friend, work colleague or client down
If you didn’t need money, what would you do?
Travel everywhere! There are so many cool places and things on this earth to see and experience and any number of amazing people from all walks of life to meet.
What is your secret to success?
Spend time with the people who are important to me. Do work that gives me a sense of meaning. Always have something to work towards.
What is your best one liner?
In order for a one liner to be good, whatever it is, it has to be genuine and you need to mean it. With respect to life, my Dad instilled in us “A winner never quits and a quitter never wins”. It is something I live by and now find myself saying it to my boys as well but only because it is true.
What are your favourite restaurants to frequent?
Amano in Britomart, Cassia in Fort Lane and the Sugar Club in Sky City. All quite different but all have amazing food, wine and service.
What is your secret to living a longer, more satisfying life?
Exercise, keep challenging yourself physically and mentally, have fun, celebrate the victories, value good people and invest your money well so that you do get to enjoy that long life.
