Turning History Into Luxury

The Tuhura (translated into Maori as ‘to discover’), is a 115 metre project of theirs and was designed by Lobanov Design studio, BMT Nigel Gee and interior designer Achille Salvagni to look and feel like a exploration vessel. The interior brings in East Asia and the Pacific Islands influences. The modern, brushed teak, tatami floors and bronze metalwork really tell a story, and separate  dividing columns to the central fireplace from the intimate dining areas, kitchens, master bedrooms, study-areas and skydecks.
